30 dwellings in Arrosadia, Navarra, Spain

PROJECTS II

PROF. Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val

This housing project in Pamplona organizes an interior space at which all the dwellings look.

The scheme of the interior distribution of homes is divided in three areas: the living rooms with direct views to the patio, on the opposite side, the rooms, and in the central area, the wet premises, as toilets and kitchen.

Its interior structure is based on a secuence of porticos, that increase in height depending on the sunlight.

Constructively, on the exterior facade a prefabricated stone finish is available, while on the inside a curtain wall of glass appears

Hotel in Tabarca, Alicante, Spain

PROJECTS II

PROF. Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val

The project appears as a stitched wall of the fortress surrounding the island of Tabarca.

Breaking the strict Construction Planning of the town, it is based on the geometry of the wall, giving the uniqueness of the shape of the hotel.
The spinal cord that traces the continuity, distinguishes the two spaces, public space toward the town and the private facing the sea.

In addition to differentiate the program, the spinal cord breaks the volumetry and hosts servers spaces.

VICIM. Collective industrilized housing

PROJECTS II

PROF. Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val

Arising a project modulation and proportion , it consists of 20 modules homes of two types: 75m2 and 45m2, housed in a bar of 4 floors, plus ground floor, with dimensions 36 x 12 m. The prefabricated concrete structure enhances the rigidity of the module and sets the pace in the distribution. Two cores of communications are placed perpendicular to the servers spaces of homes. The houses are divided into three spaces, distributed by the wet premises, which separates the sleeping area on the east facade and the living area on the west. This facade, like the south, is treated in the same way, with a large glass pane that opens onto a small terrace with prefabricated pots. Part of the cloth is closed with metal slats operable manually adjusted to regulate the light entering.

Cinema Adriano

PROJECTS III

PROF. Rubén Alcolea + Camillo Botticini

The starting points of my project is to create a big basement emphasizing the main street. Over it appears a fragile, traslucent piece that resembles the building that already exists (a cinema of the 50s that despite of its limitations, was an interesting building). So I want to bring it back in shape and give a glaze, which looks like a gost.

Having these two volumes, the link between them has been the light.

The different spaces have been distributed so as you ascend, privacy and clarity have been gained, being the auditorium the common space between the office and the exhibition area.
